![]() Adrian Davis, MusicAdrian Davis is a native of Memphis, TN. He received his BA in Music at the University of Memphis, and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Music Education from the University of St. Thomas. Mr. Davis’s 16 year teaching career has included both choral and instrumental music education, in which he has developed outstanding music programs that serve the needs of the learner and champions of the community. Mr. Davis is also an active musician and producer. | ![]() Nick Wilson, Music | ![]() Daniel Felton, MusicI am Mr. Felton and am a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College with a B.A. Degree in Instrumental Music Education. I teach beginning band, choir, piano, and general music. I enjoy playing any one of his 15 favorite instruments, singing, dancing, and just having fun. I enjoy and can appreciate about any type of music besides country and hard rock (#sorrynotsorry) and love creating music anywhere I am. |

![]() Mariah Johnson, DanceAs a specialist in dance education, Mariah Johnson aims to use her experience, dedication and creativity to add value to student development and the Roosevelt Community. Compelled to pass on her love of dance, she studied at MN State University, Mankato and Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC and completed her BA in Dance with a K-12 concentration. She has been teaching in the Twin Cities for the last 9 years in both private and public education sectors, teaching all ages and abilities. | ![]() Christina CampbellChristina Campbell is an art teacher at Roosevelt High School, specializing in Jewelry and 3D visual arts, as well as teaching adult painting and Jewelry classes at the Eden Prairie Art Center. She received a BA in Studio Art from Bemidji State University in 2005, an MFA in Jewelry from Illinois State University in 2008, and a Master of Arts in Education from Saint Catherine University in 2011. Her paintings and metalwork incorporate natural themes, scientific intrigue, and whimsy. | ![]() Jaci Smolund, Visual ArtsJaci Smolund has been teaching in Minneapolis for 17 years, including elementary, middle school and high school. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BS in Arts Education. Before teaching, she worked as an event and meeting planner for a company in Boston. Her favorite medium to work with is guache paint and she usually paints portraits. |

She has worked for Chiildren's Theatre Company, Stages Theatre, Honolulu Theatre for Youth and SteppingStone Theatre. She lives with her partner in life, Kevin and two guinea pigs, Slim and Shady. She's very excited to start the new theatre program at Roosevelt. We will have a brand new auditorium space in December 2015 and a Black Box space in August of 2016. | ![]() Tom Wells, MusicRaised in a musical family, Tom taught music for 36 years, 34 of them in Minneapolis Public Schools. In the two years since his retirement from full time teaching, He now teaches part time and performs with the Maurice Jacox Trio, Dick & Jane's Big Brass Band, the Ulysses Brass Quintet, and a wide variety of free-lance endeavors. |
![]() Candida Gonzalez, Arts CoordinatorA native of South Minneapolis, Candida studied at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, and went on to get her M.Ed. at the UMN. She is passionate about community engagement through the arts and has served as project manager for a number of projects. Currently, Candida also manages social media and serves on the board of In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre and is part of the Placemaking Work Group for the City of Minneapolis’ Creative City Roadmap project. |
